Bio

I began my vocational training at the 'Néstor Almendros Institute' in Seville, Spain, in 2012. My first contact with the audiovisual came from 'La Guadaña', a company Andalusian-based with whom I worked on several television programs for Canal Sur TV, and TV3, in Barcelona, as well as on commercials and cinema. In parallel, I have been working as a photographer in a free artistic way, but also professionally for important national and international companies, such as Henkel, Verse, Hannun or IQS University. In 2022 I graduated on the Direction of Photography degree imparted by ESCAC University (Escola Superior de Cine i Audiovisuals de Catalunya).

During this time, I have tried to develop an ability to understand the people with whom I have been working, and with whom I normally get behind the camera. Not only trying to empathize with their emotions, but knowing how to transmit them in the way they desire to do it; with their own style and always through a shared imagery.
In my influences, there is a very important part that resides in the pictorial references. I feel attracted by the mysticism that Baroque and Renaissance paintings generate. When photographing, I value both the technique and the plastic sensibility equally. I feel it’s only natural to conceive the two aspects together, especially since the direction of photography is eminently a mathematical field that combines creative sensitivity with a certain precision. Merging them, we’re able to reach and portray the soul of things.
